Some time ago, XKCD compiled a list of phrases that yielded no search results in Google.
Shortly thereafter, all of those phrases could be found in Google search, and almost all of them were talking about the list from XKCD.
This seemed an interesting concept. I'd like to contribute my own to the mix. Here are some phrases that seem like they could plausibly have Google search results, but don't:
- "woolen life raft"
- "extinct animal conspiracy"
- "relocate a volcano"
- "furby embargo"
- "wicker airbag"
- "tap danced to court"
- "newfangled rib cage"
And here are some phrases that seem like they should have no search results, but do:
- "cotton life raft"
- "eggplant conspiracy"
- "freeze-dried sushi"
- "concrete monocle"
- "tap danced to work"
- "dodecahedron of influence"

"spaceborne insecticide" - no search results
"space born insect" - has search results

"Polyester life raft" has exactly 1 hit, until this page gets indexed by Google :)

All of these come up with results. Tried them all and Google brings up results.

I am the #1 result for Furby Embargo now. :) I stumbled over this article shortly after the pastebin when down.
Because I appreciated the service, I registered the domain and posted a short Thank You note there.

I actually noticed that a while back, when I was going through this list again to see if any of them existed yet. I got a kick out of it. I'm glad you enjoyed using Nopaste while it was up. :)
